Silvio Alves Junior is the founder and CEO of Sagan Labs AI, an agentic AI company he built on a simple conviction: that a business could be run, day to day, by its own fleet of autonomous AI agents — and that the fastest way to prove it was to do it. Sagan Labs is the result, a company where AI agents plan, build, review, and ship real software under human direction.
A builder and engineer at heart, Silvio works hands-on across the whole stack — from product strategy to the architecture of the agent fleet itself. Rather than treating AI as a feature to bolt on, he designed the company around it, so that “agentic development” describes how Sagan Labs operates, not just what it sells.
Under his direction, the fleet has shipped a growing portfolio of production products:

AI-powered, smartphone-based freight dimensioning for logistics companies.
- DG Inspector
Dangerous-goods compliance software driven by document AI and computer vision.

A conversational-AI platform that turns a digital business card into an intelligent point of contact.

A no-code platform for clinics to build and run a WhatsApp scheduling assistant.
The company’s name is a deliberate nod to Carl Sagan, and the ethos follows: curiosity first, evidence always, and a belief that ambitious technology should be made genuinely useful. Every agent in the fleet is named after a scientist or artist in the same spirit — a working homage to the people who expanded what was thought possible.
Silvio is based in Florida and leads Sagan Labs AI’s product and engineering direction.
